Dear friends and family,
We are here today to celebrate the impactful life of an extraordinary and vibrant woman, our beloved mother, mentor, teacher and friend, who blessed the lives of many during her time with us. She was not just a teacher to her students but also fulfilled the role of a mother and raised generations of leaders.
Mum was kind, industrious, resilient, easy going and always ready to go the extra mile to help. She inspired many young people to strive for excellence and helped them reach their full potentials. Her dedication to work was unwavering, and her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched.
Her impact was not limited to her students alone. She was a mentor and friend to so many, always willing to lend an ear, offer guidance, or provide a shoulder to lean on. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people, and her warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
We will always remember her smile, her laugh, and the way she made us feel. Her memory will live on in the countless lives she touched, and we are all better for having known her.
I still remember the lovely conversation I had with her on her last birthday, just few days before she passed on, which as usual was full of words of encouragement and nuggets of wisdom.
Your transition to Glory has come to us all as a shock, but we are consoled by the thought that you were a God-fearing woman who lived a fulfilled life and have been an inspiration to many.
‘Mummy mummy’ as we fondly call you, I will conclude this tribute with the words of my last text message to you in the days leading up to your last birthday: “…Nne Oma. The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. Anyi.”
Rest in peace, Mum. You are the greatest woman ever. You will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
Your Son
